MY EXPERIENCES WITH SOIL ENERGY BREATHING PRACTICES
I am Amit Shrivastav, 36, a post graduate in marketing. I came to Soil upon reference from a friend, Vishal Kampani, who is an experienced regular practitioner.
School of Internal Literacy, SOIL, was a revealing platform for me about knowing that our body and brain can be abundantly energized easily through our breath, stretch and visualization. It was a new knowledge for me that the energy in our body can be directed, expanded, circulated and focused wherever we want through using our hand as a steering wheel.
• For first 9 minutes i did what is called "Brain March". Brain March is a vigorous and dynamic breathing practice that directs the breath with. focus on each of the brain hemispheres and midbrain for 9 minutes with rhythmic marching.
This accounts for nearly 270 deep and long breaths that oxygenates the major functions of the brain nearly 5 to 6 times more than what our natural breaths do.
• Second practice we did was called Brain Activation. While Brain March activates right and left hemispheres, the Brain Activation activates hind brain, medulla oblongata, top of the brain known as Sahastrara and Frontal Lobe. When this is added with Torus pattern of expansive breathing, the whole body gets homogenously energized.
Both practices together cover energization of the whole brain very effectively within about 25 minutes.
I am told that daily repetition of these practices bring into order all the functions of brain organs. That not only keeps the practitioner on a high level of intellectual efficiency, it also helps prevent aging related brain disorders like epileptic strokes, Parkinson, alzheimer's etc.
My experience: I have never experienced th.. kind of energy before eventhough i do other exercises. My concentration was high and focused. Particularly my both hemispheres of the brain got highly activated.
• Today i additionally learnt Smiling Meditation wherein one smiles to each organ of the body from toe to the brain and also smiles to the life, his surrounding and to his future. It is very pleasant and positive.
I feel like continuing these practices, learn more and teach them to others as my way of repayment of what i got without any obligation or payment.
